"Can't estimate" and why
Updated Oct 19, 2026
When ESTI can't trust the numbers for a home, it shows "Can't estimate" instead of a profit and ROI, with the reason under it. We'd rather say so than show a number that misleads you.
Common reasons:
- Sold as a portfolio, or several parcels sold together
- The price looks like land, not a house
- The size on record looks wrong
- An unusual price for the area
- An estimated loss so large the data is probably off
These homes go to the end of search results. You can still open them and type your own numbers.
