What ARV means

Updated Oct 19, 2026

ARV stands for after-repair value: what the home should sell for after the renovation. On ESTI it is labeled "Sale price after renovation (ARV)".

ESTI estimates it from recent sales of similar homes nearby. The ones it used are marked "In estimate" in Comparable sales on the property page, so you can check them.

Each scope (Moderate and Full-scale) has its own ARV, since a bigger renovation usually sells for more. Higher finishes raise it a little too.

Know the area better? Type your own ARV on the property page and the profit updates as you type.

The full method is on How ESTI estimates.
